April 22 Earth Day!

??Question of the Day - When you did the sink/float experiment, what were some items that sunk? What were some items that floated?

It is Earth Day. A great time to think about all that God has entrusted to us His children. We are to take care of the Earth and each other. For ART your child needs to find some kind of container to create a garbage monster. You could use an old shoe box, other small box or even a bag. Please help your child create a face on this with an opening for the mouth. Your child is then able to take this garbage eater out on a walk or even in your backyard to look for and pick up garbage. I put a ribbon handle on mine so I could carry it easier. Be creative and use any items around your house for the face. Mine is made out of paper and attached with packing tape.

Make a U worksheet with 4 big U's on it for your child to rainbow write. Don't forget a line at the top for them to write their name.

Send me pictures of the U worksheet and garbage monster to be posted later for all their friends to see.
