PreK 3 year old class
The PreK 3 year old student's lessons are based on the Wisconsin Early Learning Model Standards. I use themes to develop the curriculum to teach each child basic skills in math, reading, science, social studies and physical education. Preschool is also the most important time for children to discover creativity and how to relate with others. Our play based program mixes in a variety of table top time, circle time, free play and art time to give each child the opportunity to experience large group as well as one on one learning. Due to our small class size, differentiated instruction is a big part of our program meeting each student's individual needs. Each child is also introduced to the Catholic faith in all its fullness.
3K Extended Day
The 3K Extended Day class begins immediately following the 3K morning session. The children eat lunch, take a well deserved rest and then work on skills learned during the morning preschool session. The lessons from the morning program are extended to help each child grow at their own pace. The afternoon is also an extra opportunity for more imaginative play while working on social skills.
